Over the roofs of Chiang (05/11)

After staying up late yesterday with music and a cool beer, I was a little sleepy when the alarm clock called us to leave at 7:15 am.

Had some yogurt quickly and let's go!!!

The taxi takes us to the national airport. After going through the security check, the plane takes off at around 11:00 am. We will arrive in Chiang Mai (Northern Thailand) at around 12:15 pm.

The local taxi driver tried to sell us a tour for an overpriced price.

I politely decline and we have already arrived at the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and a bit old-fashioned.

The room has its own whirlpool and the view is beautiful.

Grandma sleeps through lunch, I relax by the pool.

In the evening, we visit the "Sunday Walking Market" together, which the hotel offers a free transfer to.

I am impressed by the craftsmanship here, which is made in front of the customers' eyes and then sold.

Street musicians play traditional instruments.

I enjoy bargaining with the locals for a few bargains and am almost always satisfied with the result. After strolling through the market for almost 3 hours, we make our way home.

Before I fall asleep, I think about the pictures of the day once again. Really a very nice market.
