Day 282 - Shore dive at sunset beach bar

Hellooooo everyone

Our day started as usual - relaxing on the balcony ☺️

At around 12 o'clock, we went to the 'Sunset beach bar' and had two delicious burritos ☺️

After the little snack, we went down one floor and rented the diving equipment that we were missing (BCD, weights, and air tank).

We were told that we can only dive in the designated area marked by buoys, which annoyed us a bit at first.

Anyway, we got ready, tested the equipment, jumped into the water, and descended.

Pretty soon, Kevin spotted a super cute little Roche! It was amazing! She was just lying there, observing her surroundings. It's incredible how close we got to her!

After observing her for a while, we continued our dive. Shortly after, we realized that we hadn't seen any buoys for a long time. And when a boat passed above us, we were completely confused. Slightly disoriented, we decided to ascend cautiously to see where we were.

We had drifted about 100 meters due to the current!

Shortly after, we found ourselves back in the safe area and we were no longer upset about only being allowed to dive in the restricted zone ☺️

Considering that we only dived near the shore, we were very satisfied with what we saw ☺️

After about 40 minutes, it started to get cold and we got out of the water.

It was really fun to dive again!

We decided together to go again tomorrow - but this time from a boat and with a guide.

As soon as we got back to our accommodation, we organized this right away ☺️ Now we can go on the boat from 2 pm to 5:30 pm tomorrow. That's perfect! After that, we will have time to rest, but we don't have to get up early ☺️

Around 7 pm, we had dinner at a really cute beach restaurant. It was very delicious and the service was great! The waiter asked us quite shyly if he could have a cigarette. Later, we gave him three more along with a little tip. The boy was so happy, and his colleagues also smiled ☺️

We're going to bed early tonight - we have an exciting program tomorrow!
