Flora and fauna

Thursday: It is very warm, up to 32 degrees during the day and 26 degrees at night. Our bodies have to get used to it first. The first night there was no draft, I sweated a lot, I lay awake every now and then (jet lag). (We didn't notice the fan until the next day, but it gave us some relief the following night...)

Then wake up with a view of the sea from the window! Yay!! From now on, the morning routine will be changed from “first have a coffee” to “first take a bath”. The water is exactly my temperature, I don't even have to squeak when I go in...

There is a visitor for late breakfast: The bird is very trusting, reminds us of a mixture of blackbird and starling, it is a shepherd's mania, from the starling family. There are also monkeys and monitor lizards in different sizes. And lots of hermit crabs and crabs, but more on that another time.

There are few flowers visible, but I spotted a frangipani with an intoxicating scent. Palm trees and banana trees everywhere.

We spent the day doing some remaining work and swimming, then enjoyed a sundowner in the evening...

Andreas mag gar nicht hinschauen - Strand, Meer, Sonne - hier ist alles grau. :-)
