Hello dear ones!
Greetings from the diverse, wild, beautiful Greece.
What did we get to admire?
Vikos Gorge: The deepest gorge in the world, 10 km long. Flowing with crystal clear water, surrounded by mountain villages and monasteries reminiscent of Indian shrines.
With a delightful autumn color palette along the cliffs.
Meteora Monasteries: In Kamambaka, we had the opportunity to admire the floating monasteries.
Built on rocks at dizzying heights to protect themselves from attackers. When the mist rises, they seem to float...
Volos: staying in small fishing bays, hiking and chatting with locals
Thermopylae: recharging in the hot springs
Delphi: also known as the navel of the world. Overwhelmed by the incredibly far-reaching history of Greece (8th century BC) with oracle, Apollo temple, treasure houses, and theater.
On the way, we indulged in Feta cheese in small mountain villages, enjoyed Greek coffee, and you can never see enough sunsets...
The journey up to this point was about like this...
See you soon!
