First, we had breakfast in a café just a few hundred meters from our hotel. We both decided on muesli and avocado toast: it was a feast for the eyes and tasted amazing. Afterwards, we drove to the golf course (Templeton GC) which displayed the sign "course closed" at the entrance. But unfortunately, there was only a youth tournament and we were able to play. The women's changing room consisted only of discarded furniture, probably from deceased members, and I was glad to touch as little as possible. The round itself was... to put it positively, eventually over and can be described by me with the word "terrible". Norman at least drove and putted well. In the afternoon, we were advised by a charming lady at the travel agency where we could go hiking. We followed her recommendation to Summit Road and ignored the local cable car - Thomsen Park Scenic Reserve. The hike was short, but really, really beautiful. Photos can be admired. Unfortunately, the ice cream, which was practically bought for me as a prize, was so sweet that for the first time in my life, I didn't finish an ice cream but used it for something else. We also did some shopping: warm merino cuddly sweaters at macpac in the Christmas Summer Sale (!) - crazy. Because the temperatures are dropping and we don't have any ski clothes with us... tomorrow we will continue.
