2022 - August - Amsterdam - Light Factory

If we wanted to visit all locations of the 'Lumières' digital art centers, we would have a lot to do. By now, they are not only in France (in three different locations), but also in Dubai, soon in Seoul, Iceland, and now in Amsterdam.

The concept of making art even more lively by using animation, to see them literally grow, has impressed us several times in Paris.

Then we had the opportunity to visit the exhibition in the former U-boat bunker in Bordeaux this year. It is magnificent and highly recommended, just like the city itself.

So now we have visited Fabrique des Lumières in Amsterdam. This branch of the French original has a similar size to the Parisian installation. Our luck here was that we were able to catch up on the 2018/2019 animation of Gustav Klimt and Hundertwasser.

It was a delight as always. Take a look at the photos. But of course, a visit on site is much much better.
