It's time for the final alpine ski race at the Olympics in Pyeongchang. We helped with the demolition of the slalom slope in the morning. Unfortunately, a pipe was broken during the slalom gates demolition. We suspect that the pipe was frozen. So we need to fix 3 cables at the start.
Before noon, we had the opportunity to experience the team event spectacle up close. We secured seats on a rock where most of the coaches were positioned. During the final, we moved down to the finish area and were very close to the happy Swiss winning team.
After the race, we had to dismantle the team event slope. We were much more successful here and were able to pull the many cables back through the thin pipe from the team event start to the hub. Our management was so pleased with us that we have tomorrow off.
We celebrated this in a traditional Korean restaurant. First, there was a kind of bacon on the table grill, and then duck with a tangy sauce.
Since we were in the city, we spontaneously watched the drone show. Practically all Olympic figures were created by hundreds of drones in the night sky.
After this rather calm and very impressive show, we went shopping for Olympic souvenirs in the megastore. What happened there was crazy. First waiting in line, then the chaos of a sale. This is something you just have to experience and we Swiss can't top it.
We ended the evening at the OBS party in Dragon-Strike. The music was quite special but still cool. When we headed back home is also unknown to the editorial staff.
