Departure from Almeria at 9:30 am under the sun, blue sky, and +16 degrees. Through a very barren and mountainous landscape towards Malaga. Soon we see even more greenhouses than yesterday. The entire landscape is covered with them, there are no trees and no bushes, only plastic sheeting as far as the eye can see. Even in the towns, they are right up to the houses and often in between. All tomatoes! Unbelievable! This was the case over a distance of about 100 km until 50 km before Malaga. Then the landscape became beautiful again, with trees, palm trees, and bushes. After 250 km we arrived in Mija, about 30 km before Marbella. A pretty, well-maintained, small town right on the Mediterranean Sea. We are parked on a large parking lot just outside the town, along with about 15 other campervans. There is a disposal facility available, although very basic, you have to open the manhole cover :-) and we were able to fill up with water as well. Shopping at Aldi, only 100 m away. Then a walk along the beach at +19 degrees and sunshine, and back through the town. We passed a fitness trail and of course used it vigorously :-)) Here, the poinsettias are growing outside in the flower beds, it looks good.
