Just to clarify: we are still in Singapore. Yes, the city with 5.7 million inhabitants and a stunning skyline.
Sentosa Island is a small, offshore island and can be easily accessed by public transport. The Sentosa Express departs from Level 3 of Singapore's largest shopping center (Vivo City).
The whole island has been set up for one purpose: tourism. There are countless attractions, such as the Universal Studios theme park, 4D cinema, and much more. As a result, the environment sometimes feels artificial and not really beautiful. And the fact that it is crowded with people is almost obvious.
A bit away from the gigantic resort, there are several beach sections along the coast that invite you to relax and have fun in the water. The atmosphere is almost heavenly. You wouldn't even notice that the sand comes from Indonesia. And the water temperature feels like it's around 25 degrees.
By the way, clouds are completely normal for Singapore. Blue skies are rare. And as is typical so close to the equator, you usually don't have to wait long for the next downpour. And after the first timid drops, it poured down as if from buckets. Perfect time to take a lunch break and enjoy the summer rain.
