Picos de Europa - San Toribio

I wasn't the only one who liked it here, so we extended it by one day. We used the morning for washing day number 2 and decided to hike to a nearby monastery. The hiking section is part of a pilgrimage route that finally ends at the Santo Toribio Monastery. After a short stretch on the road, it was uphill to the monastery with its peaceful courtyard. Here you can really relax.

A five-minute walk further we reached a magnificent vantage point with a view of the Picos de Europa, which is a beautiful panorama. It went down much faster and we enjoyed a refreshing drink in the campsite bar in the shade by a small river.
