Too much adventure?

We wanted to experience some adventure, but I have my doubts if this is the right place for us. We had to wear life jackets on the rickety boat that rocked us back and forth - probably for a good reason!

When we arrived on the island, a horde of motorbike taxis was already waiting for their customers! One of them grabbed my big travel backpack, placed it in front of him between his legs on the scooter, the other one put Nora on the scooter behind the driver and gestured for me to sit behind her! I thought they were joking with me! My statement that we would never all fit on there together was simply ignored. And in the end, they were right. We all fit. Comfortable is something else, but what could we do. There were no other transportation options. And so, the three of us plus all of our luggage trundled across the island to our resort! The roads here are hardly wider than footpaths, but at least mostly paved.

We are right on the beach here, which is super nice, but otherwise, there's nothing going on. Well, it will be 4 relaxing days then! We booked a tent bungalow. So far, everything is fine, just no air conditioning.
