Nusa Penida

પ્રકાશિત: 25.09.2018

From September 23rd to September 26th, 2018, we were on Nusa Penida, the island is located southeast of Bali and is approximately 20 kilometers long and about 12 kilometers wide. Our trip to Nusa Penida was very exhausting and turbulent, however, our time there was very beautiful. One day, in particular, was very impressive: we rented a driver with two other girls and visited the most beautiful beaches of Nusa Penida.

However, the rides themselves were terrible and an adventure in themselves, as there are very few paved roads in Nusa Penida and the rest are rather curvy gravel roads. So these rides felt more like a roller coaster ride.

Our first stop was Angels Billabong.

A wonderfully beautiful place. We also had the luck that there weren't many tourists at our time and it was low tide, so we could even go swimming in the small cove.

Our second stop was Broken Beach, this is my favorite of the day because I find the color of the water very impressive.

I hope you can now understand a little bit what I mean with the impressive color. In reality, it was even more turquoise and overwhelming than it appears in the pictures.

Our next stop was Kellingking Beach, probably the most famous of Nusa Penida. However, we did not make the hike down to the beach because it goes very steeply downhill and is a great burden for the body at 30C. But we had a wonderful view.

Our last stop on this day was Crystal Bay, it is located on the west coast of Nusa Penida.

Thus, a very impressive and special day came to an end and we had to realize what we saw. But I must say, Nusa Penida is a very special and beautiful island that will stay in my memory for a while.
