A winery in Devon

પ્રકાશિત: 31.05.2017

Good morning prepositions! They will kill me with prepositions. The second day on this theme, yesterday I thought it is complicated, today I know it can get worse. Prepositions combined with verbs becoming phrases without any sense for me (even for some natives speakers, too) 🤔. The first morning that doesn't end ...

After this I need an enjoyable afternoon! The school offered a guided walk to Sharpham. Unbelievable a winery in England. 100.000 bottles of wine where produced every year! There is a nice cafe and a shop with wine tasting and cheese.

We had started at the school. We is Rainer, me and our guide Rick with his Dog. We went up the hills always with a view on the river Dart. The higher we climbed, the better is the landscape. Green in any nuance, impressing old trees, flowered meadows everything gorgeous. Rick protected Rainer and me from falling into our mother tongue. So it was also a kind of lesson, because Rick always helped us with friendly corrections.

After a break at the cafe, Rick and Rainer were picked up by car and I decided to walk back. It was such a quiet and peaceful way down. Without any talk I was concentrated on that beautiful surroundings and stopped to watch flowers, trees and animals on my way.

Perfect day 😎😎😎 (except prepositions...)
