After the food didn't quite work out the day before, it had to be better today.
I had spent the day in Karamea to do a section of the Heaphy Track. A very nice hike through coastal forests with a beautiful beach as the destination.
So it had to be something more hearty. I decided to go to a pub.
Once again, there was lamb.
This time, fried lamb chops with hummus and couscous and a coriander-mint dip.
Very delicious. The lamb was tender like butter.
As a refreshing accompaniment, I had a Miners Dark from the local brewery.
