On the way back, we come across an outlet center (South Edmonton Common). The dimensions are huge, as is usual for Canada. You don't just walk over to the next store, you drive there by car. All familiar brands from Europe are represented. Meanwhile, our grandson is eagerly trying to speak English. However, the saleswoman couldn't really understand his "mustard" instead of "Thanks".
After a warm farewell from Karen and Edmonton, we board the flight to Halifax on time. The night flight with Westjet (a Canadian airline with very good service) passes quickly and we reset our clocks 3 hours ahead.
