Island day 5 - stormy sea 🐬

Good morning. Yesterday was not Island day 6 (but 4 😆 was corrected)

Benny is trying to capture a sunrise time-lapse at 6:25 (unfortunately, there are a lot of clouds on the horizon 😅). Just like in Rhino Lodge, we temporarily have no water this morning (shower/sink)... 🤷‍♂️

During breakfast, the blue peacock even dares to come to our table 😅🦚👌 In addition to the à la carte breakfast, there is a buffet with fresh fruits and cold cuts today.

Melly is feeling slightly better. However, she decides against an OpenWater Dive in the end. But the 4 Swiss are back. We can expect high waves on our way to the reef🌊, so our first 'dive' unintentionally starts on the boat 😆 Anyway, we've already showered before even arriving... we even think the captain was briefly scared🤣 We do 2 dives - 17.5 and 16m. We see another trumpetfish again. Our guide finds a large turtle 🐢 and we see 3 lionfish. Unfortunately, the visibility is less good today due to the strong waves. Part of today's training includes 'Navigation with a compass'.

During the break, the sun is shining at first, then it starts raining. Then we see several dolphins jumping out of the waves🐬

After the second dive, there is a feeding frenzy 😅 Many birds and jumping tuna - including a large sailfish. What a day 🤗

On the way back, the captain chooses a route that goes around the high waves🌊. Back on the island, Benny takes the exam questions with him.📝

Melly is feeling better bit by bit. The guide offered to dive with Melly in the lagoon on Thursday if she feels better.🤿 We will decide tomorrow.

Back in the room, we receive great news: Our wedding photos are here 😊🥰😊 A cool flashback to these amazing days 😇🤵‍♂️👰‍♂️💃🕺 In between, we take a short power nap 😴 Then, Benny takes his 'diver quiz' - fingers crossed that enough answers are correct 😆😆😆 It's quite windy outside and it rains from time to time 🌦

At dinner, we are together again 💪 finally 🥰 Afterwards, there is an acrobatics show 🤸‍♂️🤸‍♀️🤸 and we relax on our balcony and play 🍻🥤 There, a huge cricket 🦗 visits us (looks like a 'green leaf' 🍃🤣)

Fingers crossed for one last sunny day tomorrow ☀️✊
