Arriving in Nara, our first stop was Nara Park. This park is famous for its freely roaming deer and multitude of temples. 🦌

Be careful when buying cookies, as the deer will follow you everywhere.

We particularly loved the Nigatsu-do Temple in the park, which had a mystical atmosphere. 🛕

After our tour of the park and its temples, we explored downtown Nara. Here, you can visit the Nakatanidou restaurant to watch the fastest mochi master prepare the mochi dough, and afterwards, enjoy the sticky and chewy dough balls. 👨🏼‍🍳
