We went back to the Soca River to cool off, otherwise we relaxed a lot. Yesterday we left Slovenia on a lonely road and entered Italy without any border controls. There was no one here and all the buildings looked abandoned.

So pack the passports back in. Our navigation is still in avoid highway mode. So we ended up driving through the beautiful landscape of the Dolomites again. But unfortunately in creepy weather. You drive and drive or take a break, but honestly, that's Rudy's time. What do we want out there? We decided to go to the Schermoos hiking parking lot, located at 1600m. We arrived at 20:00 and once again, surprise, there was a large tent on the big meadow across. But not many cars, just a few young people. Well, I said to Burki, the real event will be tomorrow. Around 22:00 more cars arrived, the music (terrible) 😂 got louder and the party started 🎉. Luckily, we are both quite tough after 3 months in southern Europe during the peak season. We just take it as it comes and still sleep well. The change in weather was much worse for us, wet and cold yuck yuck. Luckily, Rudy's heating works so well that we made ourselves really cozy.

This morning, we went out for a jog at 9 degrees. Hallelujah, the path was immediately steep. It can sometimes be an advantage when you are completely underdressed. At 12:00, we drove to a parking lot at the Forst Brewery in Merano. We walked along the Marlinger Waal, had a beer and a delicious ham sandwich. Today's overnight spot is a soccer field near Merano. So far, it's women's soccer in a relaxed atmosphere.
