On the third day, we visited the botanical garden in the morning. The Rain Forest and Orchid Garden were my absolute highlight. Contrasts really attract, right? Then, at around 2 pm, we finally went for breakfast (okay, we had a homemade cookie from my little cousin in the morning - it was very delicious, my little one!). Unfortunately, Singapore doesn't have any nice bakeries or similar, so we had breakfast and lunch together at the Marina Bay Sands shopping mall and had Asian noodles. After that, we visited the Gardens by the Bay - a must-see destination, and we even went on the Sky Walk! Then, we strolled around the park for a while and took the MRT (subway) to the Singapore Flyer - a large Ferris wheel, comparable to the London Eye. However, we didn't go on it because it was too expensive, and we knew we wanted to go up to the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands in the evening. So, we simply walked around the Formula 1 track near the Flyer, but even that was very impressive when remembering the images from TV. For dinner, we went to McDonald's - clearly, they use different ingredients here! After that, we went to the Marina Bay Sands hotel, and the view from there was breathtaking. Then, we fell into bed, exhausted.
The next morning, we visited Chinatown until we checked out at 2 pm and headed to the airport to leave for New Zealand and leave this humid climate behind.
