Day 17/29 - from Plettenberg Bay to Wilderness and then to Swellendam

We continued from Plettenberg Bay to Swellendam. We would have loved to stay a bit longer in Plett 🧡 We're not exactly sure why, but we really liked the vibe there. The little town was super peaceful with great residential areas and that surfer vibe and good vibes in the air everywhere. But unfortunately, we had to say "Totsiens" to Plett. But we will definitely be back...We then headed to Sedgefield to a viewpoint. From there, we continued to Wilderness for lunch. Wilderness has a super impressive nature. We would love to stay a bit longer next time ☺️ So we only had time for lunch, which Basti particularly enjoyed, being convinced by the waitress of the "Cape Malay Fish Curry". It was super delicious! Then we soon left the coast and headed inland to the warm interior. We drove about 50 kilometers through smoke because there are apparently a lot of fires going on. Swellendam was also slightly covered in smoke. We are staying here for one night and tomorrow we will continue to the Winelands in Franschhoek, where we will stay until Tuesday 🍷
