Day 17: Wellington - Picton - Rarangi

We spent an amazingly calm and pleasant night in the car park in Wellington and Pia is overjoyed (see photo). But why?

A) She slept so well

B) She likes her new pyjamas, which she received from me, so much (monkey with beer)

C) She just received her morning ration of chocolate

Now after saying goodbye to the North Island for a good two weeks, we are taking the ferry to Picton today! The journey takes about four hours and the entrance to the South Island is particularly beautiful (see photos)! We drive a little further with the camper and find a nice spot on the east coast near Rarangi. It's very windy right now, let's see how the night goes...
