Day 372 - Final day including photo shoot

Hello everyone

Today was the last day of our trip together for this year.

It was the perfect ending, even if it wasn't easy emotionally.

Our alarm clock went off at certain times, but we had no stress whatsoever.

After all, we wanted to have something from the last day ☺️

We enjoyed some time on our terrace and in the great pool, but what was more interesting was that we enjoyed the remaining time together.

We went for breakfast around 10:30 a.m., the selection was huge and it tasted wonderful!

After the hearty breakfast we went back to the room, grabbed our diving goggles and headed towards the private beach ☺️

The ground was littered with stones and sharp corals, which is why we made very slow progress.

The water wasn't too deep and every time a wave came, it had enormous power. Our goal was to snorkel around the stones because we hoped to find fish and other sea creatures there. However, we gave up after about 30 minutes - the risk of injury was too great. We fought our way back towards the beach and were happy to have solid ground under our feet.

Even before we set off, we observed two men who were having an enormous struggle to get out of the water... Now we understood why it looked so strange for them ☺️

After the little trip it was time to take a shower and a short time later the make-up artist arrived. She took care of my hair and makeup for an hour ☺️.

The result was really impressive! Kevin was thrilled and I was very happy ☺️

Just as she was finishing, the doorbell rang again and the photographer arrived.

What great timing ☺️

We briefly discussed our ideas with the photographer and immediately we started. He taught us how and where to stand and we did our best.

We started in our great accommodation and were amazed at how many different scenes had already been created there. Afterwards we went to the beach and took several photos there too.

The shoot was really fun!

The photographer even went over an entire hour and didn't let anything show.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m. the two of us were back together and we had done everything we wanted to do today.

And suddenly the impending farewell was within reach and we both had a bit of trouble with the idea.

We ordered dinner to our room and enjoyed the hours together.

We stayed awake until 1 a.m., but then slowly went to sleep. The next morning the alarm went off at 4 a.m., we got everything ready and were driven to reception. At first Kevin wanted to take me to the airport on the scooter, but so early in the morning we decided to take the more comfortable option. We ordered a taxi at reception, which wasn't that easy because of the time, but everything worked out.

We checked in together and sat outside until there was no more delay and we had to say goodbye. The farewell was incredibly long, moving and somehow really hurt... A completely new situation for us.

I ran and disappeared inside the airport.

Kevin left in a taxi and I took the plane back. He now has two more weeks of vacation with Robin before everyday life catches up with him again.

Now the time has come and our vacation together is over... We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment to the fullest.
