Snake eagles and Co

Day of the birds

We were allowed to accompany Jan to the places to observe bird migration.

On days with good thermals, many eagles and kites come from Africa over the strait to Europe.

Birds that are allowed to travel freely, without passport control and evaluation.

The bird migration is just starting and we were lucky: despite the suboptimal weather, we spotted snake eagles, black kites, the Iberian imperial eagle, and a flock of white storks.

On the way, we also encountered various land animals...
