Galveston Island

Our next stop was Galveston Island, there is a bridge there and we stayed at the Sandpiper RV Resort. Before that, we took the free ferry to Bolivar Peninsula, drove around a bit, ate in the RV, and then went back to Galveston, where we enjoyed the pool and the beach. On the ferry, we could even see a few dolphins in the distance and the island had a lighthouse, which some painters chose as their motif as they sat behind their cars and painted on their canvases...
