Far away from tourism in Greece

We deliberately chose a non-tourist and much longer route from Lefkada to Delphi. Away from the coastal road and through the countryside. Although this route was not only longer but also more difficult to drive, it was incredibly beautiful. Along the very narrow switchbacks and steep inclines, we saw untouched nature and small, poorly developed mountain villages. Collapsed roads where it was difficult to pass with a vehicle and often constrictions due to rockfall. And yet, this was the most beautiful route of our trip so far.
