Aix en Provence - a bustling city

Today we went to Aix de Provence. We quickly went shopping before Sunday, checked in at the campsite, and then took the bus to the city.

And we were immediately impressed. A bustling, lively, and incredibly beautiful city. We didn't know where to look first. Lots of culture, art, countless shops, and this time hardly any cheap souvenirs but an incredible range and quality.

The old town is divided into two parts. A Roman and a medieval part. People everywhere, a lot of young people, students, weddings were taking place here, and performances were shown. Cozy cafes and patisseries and restaurants. We walked up and down, criss-crossing. Some alleys doubled up and here and there we suddenly found ourselves at a new corner. After a few hours, steps, and kilometers, we drove back to the campsite with our hearts full of impressions. Now we are sitting at the dinner table in the evening, enjoying the great experiences.
