Wuxi

Since mid-May we are officially allowed to travel out of Suzhou by public transportation again. We took advantage of this regained freedom last Sunday and took the train to the neighboring city of Wuxi. Wuxi is also located on Taihu Lake, just like the mountain we hiked up the previous week.
We didn't stay long in the actual city, but instead went directly to Turtle Neck Island. The island is very spacious and can only be partially accessed by car. You can also take a ship to a smaller island with temples.
There wasn't much going on (by Chinese standards) as many Chinese people still don't dare to visit public places.
As a result, we had a very relaxed Sunday with an extensive walk around and across the two islands.
