On this day, we (the Icelander and I) woke up at a wonderfully humane time and went to a very good Japanese-Danish bakery for breakfast.
Afterwards, we walked to the war museum, which had various exhibitions about the wars Denmark was involved in. The highlight of the museum was a particularly interactive exhibition about the war in Afghanistan, where you could experience the journey of a Danish soldier and the life of civilians in the contested area in a realistic depiction. Additionally, you could read the opinions of the different Danish parties about the Afghanistan war from 2011 and 2021.
Furthermore, there was a list and description of all the wars involving Denmark since the Renaissance, about half of which were against Sweden. Then we walked back to the hostel in the rain and arrived just in time before it started pouring.
In the evening, we went to a tiny pizzeria nearby that had amazingly affordable but still very good pizzas. After dinner, we walked around the city and sat by a body of water, chatted a bit, and watched the ducks expecting some food.
