But this was the most disturbing thing. They kept coming on the bus with their giant chicken skewers.

We stopped on the way. The luggage was somehow unloaded. Or stolen? I had a queasy feeling throughout the entire journey.

Still, at some point we stopped and I didn't know if I had to change buses. And there was no sign of the bus drivers either. I felt stranded.

In the end, I was still in the right bus without changing. With a lot of delay and still having my luggage, we reached Thakhek.

In the evening at the hostel, I met a Dutch guy again. We had already seen each other in a hostel in Cambodia. We spent the evening together with two French girls and drank beer.
