Hello!
Our next stop was the island of Koh Rong Samloem/Sanloem (both spellings are valid). We were dropped off at Saracen Bay by ferry. As there are no proper roads on the island, getting around is done on foot or by boat across the sea. Our accommodation was located on the opposite side of the island. So, as a first step, we went on a very beautiful 40-minute hike through the jungle to our bungalow at Sunset Beach. Carrying our luggage was quite exhausting, but the journey was worth it! :D
We arrived at a beautiful secluded beach. The water was crystal clear and behind the beach, between the bungalows, the jungle began. Here, we really relaxed and let our souls dangle. We dozed in hammocks, sunbathed, read, swam, and, as the name of the beach suggests, watched spectacular sunsets every evening. We really enjoyed our time at Sunset Beach.
