Adventure Heat in Dubai Part 2 was today.
After breakfast, we headed to the Deira district, also known as old Dubai, where we walked through a gold market as well as a spice and clothing market. The traders there naturally tried to sell something to every tourist. There was almost everything from all kinds of jewelry, watches, to various spices, T-shirts, and headscarves. In a spice shop, we tried various spices and types of tea. Of course, everyone tried to make their business, so most of them were very pushy. After visiting the market, we had a small lunch snack and then when buying water, we discovered in the supermarket that there were also many different spices and teas, of course much cheaper. (For next time, we will definitely be smarter)
As the sun was about to set, we went to the beach, but unfortunately, the sea was not a cool-down, and the beach was not very beautiful either, as it was artificially constructed, like almost everything here.
Tomorrow, we will visit the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. Let's see how Dubai looks from above.
