Hi guys,
what a breathtaking day!😍 The most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, golden sand and turquoise clear water: "the Abel Tasman National Park".
We started the day yesterday with a hearty breakfast! Breakfast burger, pancakes and coffee were on the table! Where are we going? Right, McDonald's again!😅 Then we went to the national park!
We had already been in the park before we started working, but I was struggling with an illness at that time. But this time I was fit and looking forward to hiking. Pascal, who had already walked the hiking trail last time, didn't feel like hiking and decided not to join me, but I set off into the incredible world of Abel Tasman National Park!
I'm already a fan of beautiful beaches, but when I reached the first bay, I couldn't believe my eyes! I had never seen such a paradise-like beach in my life before! It was just like one of those "Fly into paradise now for this and that euro" commercials from a travel agency. I hiked along numerous bays and beaches, each one more beautiful than the other, until I reached the northernmost point of the park. At "Separation Point", which is the name of the place, I saw a colony of sea lions frolicking in the turquoise blue water. An amazing experience!
Now I had to choose the way back, either I hike over a mountain in the forest to return to the parking lot and make a "loop track" out of it, or I walk back along the beach to the car, which would mean that I walked the same path twice in the end. Under normal circumstances, I would always choose the "loop track", but under these circumstances, I decided to hike back along the beaches, because what could be more beautiful than seeing such dreamy beaches once? Right! Seeing them twice!😍😅 It turned out to be a great decision. So I hiked again along all the dreamy places, until I was back at the car. After about 30,000 steps, incredible impressions, and many great pictures, we went to the nearest village to the supermarket. The "Abel Tasman National Park" was clearly one of the highlights of New Zealand for me so far and I would recommend it unconditionally to any beach lover!😍
After we got something for dinner at the supermarket, we went to the campsite.
For me, there was pasta with vegetable pesto and parmesan, which rounded off this great day even more!😊
Now I'm lying exhausted from hiking, because no matter how beautiful it is, it's still tiring, in bed and now I'm going to sleep.
Greetings from Takaka, New Zealand!🇳🇿
Your Tim!😊
