Day 55 Mataranka Hot Pools

- Leaving the middle of nowhere with the name Renner Springs early in the morning for the drive up to Katherine. Just about 100 km south of Katherine is Mataranka, which is known for its hot pools. In Northern Territory most water holes are freezing cold, but the Mataranka pools are warm, so nice to relax.
- The Mataranka Hot pools are just a short walk from a Camping area and the crystal clear blue water shaded by palm trees are a very popular place for lots of travellers for a nice swim.
- The other hot pools, the Bitter Springs Hot pools are sunny, but also with deep and crystal clear blue water.
