The first day in Alaska

Hello,

after Kluane National Park it was time for us to go to Alaska! The border was not far away and before we knew it, we had already crossed it. Then there was a border control by US officers who roughly searched our car and we got a three-month visa. Everything worked out great, except for the small mistake that now I'm called Kmistin in their system :-D Well, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Arriving in Alaska, we drove past beautiful lakes and everything was much greener than in the Yukon. Spring had already begun here and it was also warmer the further west we drove. We spent the night at a rest area right on the highway near a river.
