3rd day Trotternish

On the 3rd day, we set off early in the morning to find the dinosaur footprints on Staffin Beach during low tide. When we arrived, we were initially puzzled because there was no sign of the footprints. It was only a German family with GPS coordinates who could guide us to the destination. The footprints are quite interesting to see, even though the largest and most beautiful ones are currently covered in sand by the north wind. We got back into the car to go to Quirang, a rock formation that slides about 1 to 2 cm every year. This mountain range is also frequently used as a backdrop for Hollywood movies. After an adventurous climbing tour that took us to the Prison, a very special rock formation that looks like prison bars, we had a picnic on a cliff ledge with a unique view of the valley. Usually, Martin and I would climb all the way to the top, but we didn't want to put Mattis through that this time. We had a delicious lunch and visited the Staffin Museum, which displays artifacts from the Isle of Skye. Then we drove to Brothers Point, a beautifully located mini-peninsula that can only be conquered with a lot of climbing.
