10.02.2017 - Let's go...

This flight was what I was looking forward to the most! An overnight flight on the A350 to Hong Kong.

You have to be somewhat aviation-nerdy to choose your travel route based on the aircraft. I couldn't miss this opportunity. I raided my mileage account and secured a business upgrade :-)

At 10:30 p.m. we finally headed east. It was even the first A350 that LH put into service.

For the other nerds: A359 / D-AIXA / Nuremberg / MSN 74

For those who are not initiated yet, some bluff knowledge:

Based on the last two letters of the ACReg (aircraft registration), the initiated can recognize which type of aircraft and the number of machines of that type it is. X stands for type A350 with A for the first machine of this type. Nuremberg is the name of the aircraft.

The 350 is truly a very beautiful, elegant and above all quiet aircraft. It was a really great flight. One could really get used to this!
