in koh tao we spent a whole week. first we stayed in a hotel resort with a pool right on the beach and then we stayed in another accommodation in the center for 3 more nights. koh tao has a lot of beautiful beaches spread across the island and a lot of attractions. we rented a scooter to get around and explore. we went snorkeling multiple times at a beach where the reef starts just 5 meters from the shore, so we were immediately in the underwater world. there, Dave, the diving instructor, even went for a dive and took amazing footage. koh nangyuan, a beautiful viewpoint reachable by a short hike, is only a 15-minute boat ride from koh tao. koh tao itself also has a viewpoint where we could see multiple beaches. we simply enjoyed the peaceful days, especially the nice weather. it only rained lightly for two days and otherwise we had a clear blue sky.
