Vanessa and I started our booked horse ride today in Son Serra de Marina.
I chose Jane (January) and Vanessa chose Johnny. Xavier bought the former racehorses and brought them back to good health, and now tourists can ride them.
With great respect, we mounted the horses and trotted through the beautiful landscape. Our path led through rocky red fields, pine forests, white sandy paths, and past dunes to the magnificent beach with a view of impressive rock formations.
The waves were very high, so for safety reasons, we didn't take the horses into the sea. But there was a small pond where we led the horses through, and that's where my Jane promptly slipped and my feet got wet.
Another highlight was my "descent" from the horse; when we arrived in the paddock, Jane went down on her knees and lay down on her side to roll in the sand. Maybe she forgot that I was still on top, but I quickly let go of my stirrups and landed relatively softly on the ground 🐴...
The two hours flew by, and my time in Mallorca is coming to an end soon.
I could easily get used to this rhythm of yoga, breakfast, swimming, reading, taking a pause in the wonderful atmosphere, and then yoga/meditation followed by a fantastic dinner...
On the other hand, I'm looking forward to my family and our home in Falkensee.
😎😋🤗
