Day 22 - Linkoping

Oñemoherakuãva: 27.08.2017

Today we continued to Linkoping, the northernmost point of our trip. Originally it would have been Stockholm, but we decided against it, because that would have been quite stressful with the driving. We wanted to stay in Smaland instead.

In Linkoping, we first went to the open-air museum, which was really nice. It's like a journey back in time to another world. Everything there is like it was 100 years ago, cute little houses, museums, and all the shops have everything your heart desires, from nice trinkets to great craftsmanship. We also did a bit of shopping :)

At one of the toilets, we found this sign....

For a little refreshment, we went to a cozy restaurant that felt like being on a ship. After that, we had delicious waffles. We even got some, even though they were already closed, how kind of the Swedes :)

Then we quickly went to the city center, but all the shops had already closed at 5 pm.

Then to the Sandviks campsite right by Lake Roxen.
One thing you notice is that everything in Sweden is wheelchair accessible. The beaches and even every small restaurant with a toilet are accessible for handicapped people. Really exemplary.
