Day 25-Can the journey continue?

Oñemoherakuãva: 16.08.2017

Yesterday afternoon, the engine warning light came on in the car... This morning, we immediately went to the Toyota workshop to have the car checked. After some time, the diagnosis came. Our home workshop had filled too much oil, causing the oil filter to clog. Fortunately, the mechanics were able to save the old filter and didn't have to install a new one. However, the repair took about 2 hours. The workshop manager was very friendly and didn't want to empty our vacation budget. That's why he waived nearly 50% of the actual costs and we got away with minor damage.

Afterwards, we went to a husky farm. Since we are very interested in huskies, we wanted to see the animals. Unfortunately, we couldn't go directly to the dogs here. However, the owner gave us the tip to try it a little further at another farm. There we found what we were looking for, about 50 Siberian Huskies howled and barked at us friendly.

The sight fascinated us and we would have loved to take one of the little ones with us. :)

Then we continued to Jokkmokk. Here we rented a cabin for 2 days at a campsite. Originally, we wanted to relax there and recover from the many days of travel. But as usual, things turned out differently... When we entered the cabin, we were met with an unpleasant sight. The cabin was uncomfortable, everything was old, broken, and dirty. In addition, one of us would have had to sleep on the sofa in the kitchen, as the bed in the bedroom was only about 50 cm wide. Determined, we went back to the reception, and after a short discussion, we got our money back. After that, we went to a beautiful river nearby.

There we set up our camp, ate comfortably, and finally had a beer again.

In the evening, the sky turned beautiful colors again.
