April, April 🌷🐣☀️

Oñemoherakuãva: 01.05.2023

Now it's high time, because I don't want to skip a month where I haven't written anything. 😅

This time a slightly shorter blog entry from me. Over Easter I was at my home (in Ansbach), because I went with some friends to the OKO (Easter Conference) in Gunzenhausen. This went from 08.04 to 10.04. Among other things there was also a concert with the O-Bros. Do you know them? Those are two brothers who rap Christian music. 😄

At the moment I'm looking for suitable topics for my finals again. If you have any ideas, let's hear them. 😂

For video journalism, we have now decided on the bee project. The idea was to make an explanatory piece. Our target group will be elementary school children. We will explain how honey is made and which honey myths are true and which are not. We have already teamed up with a beekeeper for this. I think in May we'll shoot the first scenes. 😉🐝

On Saturday I took care of my admission requirement. Task is to make a live on tape reportage. Means to be at a place where something happens and report live about it. Only if you pass this exam, you are allowed to participate in the final exam of the summer semester.

Not everything always goes smoothly for me either, and so I unfortunately had to realize that guided tours are not really suitable for live-on-tape reporting. It turned out to be difficult because you only find a few time slots during the tour to really speak into the microphone and record what you see or experience. I'll have to see what and if I can take any of it at all.

The final exam is easier, in my opinion, because as a reporter I don't have to record the voiceover right on the spot, but am allowed to speak it in later. ☺️ That's why they call it a 'built reportage.'

My work at the photo store is going well so far. There are even customers who thank me with a small gift. These are always very nice and valuable experiences. 🥰

At the end of April I was once again at home and spent a little time with my family. 😇 I can't wait to become an aunt. The date is getting closer and soon I will be able to meet the little one in person. 😊

What's planned for May? - Becoming an aunt, passing exams, going to Pfijuko (Pentecostal Youth Conference) in Siegen, finding a good church, enjoying life and always staying positive. 🙃

So, short and sweet this time and quick to read. 😂

See you in the May blog post then. 😃👋🏻
