Green, medium green, light green, and and and ... So many shades of green can be seen here right next to the beautiful coastal road. Almost as we saw it on Rarotonga. Occasionally a bird or even a chicken crosses the path. The small towns consist of a few houses. In between signs that there is no gas station for the next 90km. We feel like we are alone in the world until we reach the next highlight: The Pancake Rocks.
We are also impressed by this natural puzzle. How did these petrified pancakes come about?
To match that, you can order pancakes directly across from it. However, we decide on a natural picnic spot on the coast. That's why we love this country.
On our drive towards Abel Tasman NP, we find another beautiful green spot right by the river for our mobile home.
