Our last day here in Isolabella, this little paradise on the Indian Ocean, starts with a wonderful walk. We walked with a group of five through the village to the beach in Hiriketiya. The beach still looked untouched and exuded a wonderful calmness in the early morning 🌊☀️
Since we always go to bed early, I usually wake up around 5 o'clock, wide awake and full of energy. It's wonderful to see the sun slowly heralding the day. I probably won't implement it as strictly in Germany, but I have definitely noticed how good it is for me to go to bed earlier and get up earlier.
Of course, today we enjoyed our desired treatments and food once again. The flower bath in particular will stay in my memory forever 🌺🌸🌼
(It looks dreamy, was pleasant and smells wonderful. However, there were numerous ants on the flowers, so now my neck is adorned with a necklace of ant bites - but it was definitely worth it!)
In the afternoon, we went to the village again with the other ladies to do some shopping. There isn't much here in the village, but 1-2 nice boutiques and a souvenir shop. Despite the limited selection, we were actually very successful with our shopping 🛍️
The suitcases are packed systematically as we will spend tomorrow in Negombo.
Thank you, dear Isolabella team, for this unforgettable time. Everyone was so warm and welcoming to us, and it couldn't have been better🌺 This will definitely not be my last time here!
