First of all, a little info:

I was made aware that the captions are not displayed correctly on mobile. I am generally dissatisfied with this blog platform, but I will continue to use it until the end of this trip and simply write the texts here again. Sorry for this stupid presentation of the texts below the images!

In the morning, Josh's sister told us that we could stay for another night. We gladly agreed. Then, within an hour, we went to Tomaree National Park. There was a lookout point there.

Afterwards, we went to Hunter Valley to taste cheese, chocolate, and wine. I "sacrificed" myself as the driver. The cheese was so amazing and the others were also raving about the wine. We bought a bottle for Josh's sister and family as a thank you for their generosity. When we were back in Newcastle, the whole family accompanied us to Bogey Hole, a waterhole. In the evening, we were invited to dinner. We felt so comfortable there and were very grateful for everything!

The next day, we drove 3.25 hours to the Blue Mountains. Due to the smoke in this area, the Three Sisters were hardly visible. These bushfires are really dramatic! We couldn't go to the next planned stop either, as it was in the endangered zone. We visited a few other places and arrived at the campsite already at noon. Played cards and enjoyed the last evening together.
