Favorite stage

I met Helmut early in the morning while dismantling the tent. We somehow clicked and had breakfast together.

Then I headed towards Loutro. This section is one of my absolute favorites. There is a long stretch through the forest and the path is easy but not boring. The colors are so vibrant and the air is so pleasant. It's impossible to get enough of it. The Aradena Gorge flows into Marmara and there is a beachfront restaurant. I asked if I could leave my backpack behind to take a walk in the gorge without any luggage and if I could stay overnight on the beach. The host had no problem with it. I was able to safely deposit my backpack and headed into the gorge. It was super quiet and beautiful. I walked for over 2 hours and it was nice to be without any luggage for a change. Then I had a good meal and realized that I left my power bank in Agia Roumeli. It's one thing from my backpack for which I would walk the distance back. I messaged Helmut and he found it right away. It was fully charged now. We made plans to meet tomorrow to figure out how to get the power bank. Then I went to the beach and set up my tent. If it's warm enough and no rain is expected, I'll leave the rainfly off. That way, I can see the starry sky at night and hear the sound of the sea. I'm really grateful to have the opportunity to experience this.
