We were lucky to be in Valencia during the last preparations and the first day of the 'Fallas'. Impressive these figures!
Hard to believe that only one of these figures will not be burned...

We had less luck with the weather. There was always a strong wind blowing and occasional drizzle, sometimes even stronger at night. Very unusual for this time of year. Climate change is greeting.
One could also see it in the Fallas figures and traditional costumes, which are designed for different weather conditions...
FAVORITE DAY OF CLAUDIO:
On Monday morning we went to the large aquarium called "Oceanografic". In the Oceanografic we watched the little fish and then the sharks swim. I liked the stingrays and sharks the best. The stingrays looked almost like little ghosts from below.
At noon we had lunch at the Oceanografic. After lunch we visited the science museum on the topic of Mars.
After that, me and mom went shopping: After a long search, I finally found new favorite pants, and then we bought food for two dinners and a breakfast. After shopping, we took a taxi home because it was already late and dark and we would have had to walk a long way from the bus station. That would have been difficult in the wind because we still had heavy luggage. So I had my first taxi ride.
