Island hop

The days and nights passed quickly on Koh Tao. It could well be because of the festival we attended. The Arial on the island's hill wasn't too big, but also not too small. The decorations were amazing, you could get some ideas for parties at home! The atmosphere was extremely relaxed.

Then we took the ferry to the next island. It became a cozy cottage on the beach for the next few days! Thanks to the local fabric, this sea journey was much better!

So what do you do on an island like Koh Phangan!? Like everyone here, we rented a scooter for little money and off we went. (5 euros per day! / Watch out for left-hand traffic!) We spent the last few days exploring beaches, bays, waterfalls, and letting our souls dangle. That was the plan from the beginning on this island. Relaxation, as the journey unfortunately will soon be over. But nobody wants to think about that yet!

In the evenings, we visited a night market again. All sorts of little things turn such a market into an experience, all senses are demanded. But the highlight was the evening at the Cobra Arena. Medium-sized Thais trying to knock each other out! This sport is called Muay Thai! I seriously ask myself, 'how crazy do you have to be to voluntarily do something like this!?'

To top off the whole island experience, we visited the legendary 'Full Moon Party'. 400m of party, thousands of people, different floors and attractions. Bucket drinking is a big thing here! I advise you not to go swimming in this section of the beach the next day! 😅

Soon we have to leave this island....
