24.02. Raptor retreat game lodge

4:45 AM the night was over. 5:30 AM mount up for the 2nd safari. After 2 hours of unsuccessful searching, we stopped for a coffee break in the bush. Suddenly and unexpectedly, the king of the jungle appeared on our path. In the afternoon, while relaxing on our terrace, we were visited by 3 warthogs and there were elephants at the waterhole near our lodge. At 4:00 PM, mount up for the next tour. A highlight. Elephants at the waterhole, giraffes, kudus, hippo, waterbucks, monkeys, and much more.
