8. April - Music

Oñemoherakuãva: 08.04.2021

Unfortunately we have not yet received the test results from our horses. So we are still in quarantine. Or rather on vacation. Since I have school for the next 2 days (online), I will only be able to work on Sunday at the earliest. Monday is our day off. So for me, it will really only start on Tuesday.

Today I continued to work on the caravan and optimized it. We were able to buy it relatively cheaply, but several things were broken (shower, toilet, several blackout blinds, door latch, fly screens, towel racks, etc.). In addition, I have optimized/tuned a lot! :-D (made a cat door, installed a recirculating steam extractor with charcoal filter, set up additional water tanks since we don't have a water connection here, etc.). We also have music in the caravan now, which makes it even cozier!

Jenny was busy reading, drawing, and doing office work. We also lunged our horses in the morning and took a ride to the pasture with the cows and the 2 horses in the evening. Fly doesn't like it when there are horses and cows standing around snorting, especially when there's thunder from a nearby thunderstorm. Sarina is in her element when she can chase these animals away.

The heating and hot water are now working perfectly. That's a good thing, because it can get quite cold at night (around 5 degrees). Some rain is expected for the next 3 days. We hope the awning is watertight.

Our 5 animals (and us) are doing well so far. The cats come by regularly to pick up their food. Apart from some squabbling with the cats here, everyone is fine.

We would be fine if the test results were finally there so that we could start...
