Nineteenth day of travel, once to Mt Cook and back

Oñemoherakuãva: 07.11.2019

After a classic NZ breakfast (Eggs Benedict... very tasty), today we head back a bit and along Lake Pukaki to the highest mountain in NZ, Mt Cook. Unfortunately, it doesn't fully reveal its beauty as the summit is covered in clouds. But it's a beautiful route with many great views of the lake and mountains. Back in Tekapo, our daily odometer reading shows 236km.

Just two more days, then we have to return the motorcycles and soon we'll be heading back home. But let's get rid of these thoughts, tomorrow we're heading back to the east coast, to the Pacific.

And to Josh, happy birthday! Have a great celebration!
